Fair-Weather “Fans” Need Not Apply

As you can see from this interview with Jonathan Toews after a loss against the Blues last night, the guys feel bad enough when they lose.  So, is it really necessary for Hawks “fans” to boo their own team at home like they did during this game???

Gee, if we can go 20 years between Superbowls without booing the Bears, why can’t we not boo the Hawks when they lose a game?  Well, if this is a case of fair-weather fans (and I’ve seen them at the games, so I know they’re there) I wish someone would school them in proper fan decorum.  Yes, us Chicago fans are long-suffering.  But that’s what makes us so great.  We don’t stop watching our teams just because they lose a few games…or for twenty years straight.  Gee, show some class people.  If the Hawks are in a slump (though I wouldn’t use the ’s’ word just yet) is it really helpful for them to be booed in their own arena???
