Alex Burrows Pulls Duncan Keith’s Hair Like a Little Girl!!!

Wow! That third period mêlée between the Hawks and the Canucks was the best hockey fight I’ve seen to yet this season even though the Hawks fell to the Canucks 4-0. Still, the Hawks went out swingin! A lot of nice Greco-Roman-style takedowns that would have been more at home on a mat than on the ice. But still, NICE!

Except for when Alex Burrows took Duncan Keith down by the hair! Even as a little girl I didn’t fight that dirty! And then when Dunc was down on the ice, what does Burrows do? He pulls Dunc’s hair again! Lame!

Ben Eager’s fight in particular was one for the scrap book. I like Eager’s statement too. He’s right off a 3-game suspension and does he take it easy? Hell no he doesn’t! He’s right back in there scrapping and taking care of his own! Atta boy Benny!

If you thought that was a great game for the Hawks then you must not be expecting much in the playoffs Clown! I hope the Canucks and Hawks meet up in the first round and then you’ll see what the hawks really are. A good young team that cant compete in a mans game. CANUCKS IN FOUR! BRING OUT THE BROOMS!

I do like the Hawks for next year though!

Oh goody. Here’s where the hoiden — the rude girl — part comes in! I’ve been waiting for so long to bring her out!

I said it was a great game because they stood up for their own and they went down swingin. Did you read all the way to the end? Can you read?

I also don’t dispute that the Hawks aren’t going to make it very far through the playoffs if they don’t get their act together. But everybody knows that.

The reason this was a good game is because Buff, finally annoyed by the goon hockey played by the Canucks all evening long (I think the Canucks hold the copyright on trash talk), gave Luongo a shot in the face. Granted that was not cool, but clearly, judging from the Donnybrook that ensued, the Hawks had had enough. If the Hawks had played as aggressively on D as they fought the Canucks in hand-to-hand, the outcome of the game would have been different.

And yes, next year. By then perhaps the Hawks will have acquired a consistent goal tender (or goal tenders) and a defenseman to replace Brian Campbell.

As for you Canuckle-dragger, I would have expected more from a Canadian. Aren’t you all known for your politeness? Or does that not apply with hockey? Tsk, tsk. Well, it’s all in good fun, so stick around for the playoffs. We’ll trade barbs again then…LOL…

You are an idiot.. Keith was ‘fish-hooking’ Burrows, that’s why Burrows grabbed his hair, in self defense. Notice how when they fell to the ice Keith’s arm was around Burrows and if you look closely you can see his hand in his mouth, as soon as Burrows grabs his hair he lets go… So nice try but turns out the real girl is Keith… and the only reason Eager got that one good punch in was because Bieksa’s arm was tangled in his jersey.. Why are Americans so dumb?

  5. Kane99 Says:

I’m a huge blackhawks fan but I have to admit I was disgusted in their performance. First there’s a cheap shot on not only a goaltender but maybe the best goalie in the world.. then Keith has his hand inside Burrows mouth, which is the reason he pulled his hair.. if you look closely on the replay you’ll see it.. and then Eager waits until Bieksa has his back to him after staring each other down for quite a while then decides to scrap, and is lucky he got that punch in when Bieksa’s arm was tangled in his jersey… it’s embarassing that this all happened in what is probably going to be a preview of the first round.

Welcome to hockey! It’s rough out there. Shouldn’t you know that as a Canadian??? And, I say Canadian Kane99 because your IP address is Canadian and it’s the same as the poster above you. So don’t play like you’re a Hawks fan or for that matter two separate people.

Trading barbs is fun with opposing teams’ fans, but not if you’re going to be a crybaby about it. I said in TWO consecutive posts and TWICE now in the comments section that this fight was resultant of a cheap shot by Byfluglien. Again, welcome to hockey. You don’t always fight fair. That’s why there’s such a thing as penalties, or in this case, several, and that’s why the penalty box was full and guys got sent to the locker room. Duh.

There was no fish-hooking or fingers in Burrows’ mouth and I’ve watched that footage repeatedly. Dunc’s fingers were wrapped around Burrows’ head and his hand was on Burrows’ face trying to get him off of him and to get him to stop pulling his hair; but Dunc’s fingers were not in Burrows’ mouth. Deal with it. When one of ours does something stupid, you won’t see me defending them. Like I said, the fight was justified. Buff started it with a cheap shot to Luongo. ‘Nough said.
