Hawks Hockey Hoiden

Someone was kind enough to gift me with tickets to tonight’s Hawks/Wild game at the United Center.  My benefactor used StubHub to order the tix last minute.  We left two hours before the game started and then hit a wall of traffic. (50 minutes in from O’Hare on the Kennedy.)

Because we were going to be late, we called the StubHub operator and she actually called the StubHub ticket office on West Randolph and asked them to keep the office open until we could pick up our tickets.  Now that’s service!  When’s the last time Ticketmaster ever did something so cool?  In fact, how annoyed are you on game day when Ticketmaster makes you enter that stupid code over and over just to check for ticket availability?  Well, thank goodness for StubHub.  I have been using them for 2 years now and they just make everything a breeze.  Thanks to them, I was able to see Carlos Zambrano’s no-hitter in Milwaukee last year.  The game was moved last minute, and no problem.  Got right on StubHub, ordered the tickets in like 2 minutes, printed them on my printer, and boom I was out the door headed to Milwaukee.  They make it just that easy.

I hope StubHub will always be this awesome.  I hope they always appreciate the fans this way, and I hope they always make it just this easy to go to the games.
