Isn’t it great that the on-ice officials can be over ruled by the Bat Cave, and vise versa, and this ‘intent to blow’ crap is allowed to pass as a call, good or bad, either way?
I’m gonna hold you to eating that crow you know. ;)

Seems to me the real problem with the officiating is just how subjective it is. Some refs will allow fighting to go on til there are brains on the ice. Some never allow fighting. And then there are those that allow it but always make it a 5-minute major. Then there are still others who differentiate between roughing and fighting. I just wish that whatever they did they would all do. (As long as they all keep fighting. It’s a fundamental part of the game.)

No, I am not in the Huet fan club as yet. But i will always give someone their props when they’re doing well. My problem has never been with Huet doing poorly (even really poorly). My problem has always been his inconsistency. i think other teams have had this beef with Huet as well. Has he stayed with any team for longer than 2 years? Yes, he’s our guy and of course I support him and I’ll always cheer for him to do well. But I won’t ignore a bad performance either. And yes, I will gladly eat crow on Huet because I would love for him to prove me wrong!

And to think that you had doubts about the horrible officiating this year.
So, are you slowly but surely coming to Huet’s fan club? ;)
It seems like you are swaying that way.
You might as well join us, cuz he is our main man, and he needs our support.
