So Cool to See Cheli Back in Town!

After seeing Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, and Tony Esposito on the ice at the UC the other night, Chris Chelios being back in town is just the cherry on the sundae, even if he is skating with the Wolves.  Who knows?  Maybe his career will even surpass Gordie Howe’s.  (And if Cheli signs with the Wolves, does that mean Cheli’s Chili Bar will be coming back to town???)

Home Opener a Go-Go

What a home-opener last night at the UC between the Hawks and the Colorado Avalanche!  Almost makes you wish you were there. (Almost.)  But if I hadn’t been at home I wouldn’t have gotten to see the replay (about 6 times) of Niklas Hjalmarsson’s swing-batta-batta swing into the face of the Avs Darcy Tucker.  In a word: awesome.  And Hjalmy didn’t even get called for high-sticking!
